‘Under the Microscope’ highlights the promise of robotic-assisted microsurgery for breast cancer reconstruction

With Symani, breast cancer patients can access reconstructive options using their own tissue and robotic technology. Under the Microscope’, a film produced for MMI by BBC StoryWorks and presented by MedTech Europe, explores one patient’s journey from diagnosis to failed implant to autologous breast reconstruction. One of the thought leaders and most influential surgeons in the microsurgery field, Professor JP Hong, shares his enthusiasm for the technology that elevates the skills of surgeons and benefits patients with a less invasive, effective reconstructive option.
